Sr. Dianne Livingstone, MHSH dies at age 74

Our beloved Sister Dianne Livingstone, MHSH died at Stella Maris Hospice in Baltimore County on May 23.

Sister Dianne Livingstone, a member of the Mission Helpers of the Sacred Heart for 42 years, died at Stella Maris Hospice in Baltimore County on May 23.

Sister Dianne was raised in Salisbury, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and always considered the Shore her home. She attended Wicomico High School and Salisbury State College and was a Pharmacy Technician at Peninsula General Hospital before joining the Mission Helpers Community in 1977.

Her missions included a New York City Latino community and an Arizona church where she was one of the country’s first parish administrators. She also served in Youngstown and Warren, Ohio; Wilmington, Delaware; and Chestertown, Maryland, where she was Director of Religious Education at Sacred Heart Our Lady of Sorrows from 2004 to 2008.

Sister Dianne was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Livingstone, and is survived by sisters Anne Riley Taylor and Mary Buller, numerous nieces and nephews, her Mission Helper Sisters, family, and friends.

6:30pm with a wake service at 7:00pm
